Practice Policies

Payment

Payment is expected at the time services are performed. We accept cash, EFTPOS, Bankcard and all major credit cards as methods of payment. For more extensive treatments we have two further payment plans available: Prepay, which entitles you to a percentage rebate for up-front payment, or Carecredit, a third party financing organisation which can help you to pay your fee through flexible extended payments.

Dental Insurance

We are happy to help you attain the maximum benefit from your private health insurance. We provide HICAPS facilities, whereby your tretment fee is paid by your health insurance, and you are only required to pay the gap not covered by health insurance. Consult your private health insurance provider for details of your coverage, The amount covered by your health insurance provider is agreement between you and your insurances provider solely.

Punctuality / Cancellations

At Dentist at Care, our appointments usually run to time. However, medical facilities are sometimes subject to unforseen delays, and we apologise if we ever keep you waiting. To help us reduce the waiting period for all our patients, we would appreciate if you could arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment.

We understand that our patients lead busy lives. If you are experiencing a personal delay, or you think you might have to cancel an appointment, please ring and inform us at your earliest opportunity on 9989 8966. Due to the popularity of our practice, we require 48 hours notice to reschedule appointments. Without notification, regrettably, a cancellation fee will be charged to your account.
